Description: A Street play or Nukkad Natak was organized by Prerna group under the banner of 'Patna Jesuit Inter Religious Dialogue' in St. Xavier 's on 3rd February, 2017. In a short programme of 15 to 20 minutes, the actors cast a spell on the audiences. The play depicted one of the most alarming threats to our country, religious intolerance. India is a country with lots of diversities and often falls prey to such people who try to weaken us in the name of caste , religion, race etc. The play showed how we should remain intact celebrating together the different festivals, share with the feeling of brotherhood. In the morning the play was staged for the students of classes VIII and IX and in the evening for plus two students. The students enjoyed it a lot. Street plays are a very good medium to exhibit and bring out issues of social cause before people. The students not only enjoyed the play but also learnt this medium of expression. We need to come forward to raise such issues and who but the children can can carry out this task very well as they are the future of tomorrow. We congratulate the organization for holding such programmes. It is definitely going to cast an everlasting impression on the minds of the viewers and will bring a positive change.
