Description: Children‘s Day 2019
The children’s Day programme was celebrated at St. Xavier’s High School on 14th November 2019. The celebration began by lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The children were welcomed by a melodious and meaningful song sung by the High School teachers. The class I students presented an English as well as a Hindi poem which were well recited and widely appreciated. Few games were also organized for the enjoyment of the students. The primary section teachers presented a lively Punjabi dance which rejuvenated the audience present there and also energized the students. It was then followed by Fr. Principal’s motivational speech and an inspirational song. Awards for perfect attendance were given to the students by Fr. Rector, Fr. Principal, XPTA President, Vice President and the Secretory. There was a unique dance performance by the Kidzone teachers which was a lovely fusion of western and Indian culture. The programme finally ended with Fr. Vice Principal’s vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
