Description: Teacher’s Day 2018 (Plus Two)
In honour of the birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, on 5th September Teacher’s Day was celebrated in the school auditorium. The Programme began with the lighting of the lamp and this honour was done by Fr. Rector, Fr. Principal, Fr. Vice Principal, Br. Vijay and Rahul of XII ‘A’ and Aamra of XI ‘B’ helped them.
Teachers were welcomed by the anchors and the programme began with the prayer dance. The Principal Fr. Christu Savarirajan S.J in his speech laid emphasis on teacher-pupil relationship. He wonderfully motivated the students to realize the importance of teachers in their lives.
Welcome song was presented by the school choir in a rhythmical tone and Kavya path was presented by Nishit .
English speech was presented by Bhawna, Hindi speech was given by Aayush and Prakriti from XI A and Shloka was recited beautifully by Saloni of XII D. Amit presented Shayari and the school choir sang a melodious ‘Kajri’. Filmi tunes on guitar was played by Abhishek of XI ‘C’ and Mash-up was the centre of attraction of the programme which was presented by Abhishek and Himanshu of XI C. Vice-Principal,Fr. Devashish S.J. gave vote of thanks. The programme ended with the National Anthem. Gifts were distributed to all the teachers of +2.
